Methods of Teaching Religious Concepts Discussed in Austria
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Austria organized an educational workshop in Vienna on methods of teaching religious concepts to children and teenagers.
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Noor Mubin Institute and Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in Vienna cooperated in organizing the workshop.
Hojat-ol-Islam mohammad Hassan Rastgu was the instructor of the workshop, held for children and adults separately.
The expert discussed the principles of Islamic education and training, need for cultural programs for children and teenagers, how to interact with children, spiritual and physical conditions of a classroom, imagination and thinking, storytelling, play, educational equipment, etc.
The workshop was held in Arabic, German and Persian.
The Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center hosted a meeting of parents and experts in Islamic education as a part of the program.
