250 Quran Memorizers Honored in Taif
TEHRAN (IQNA) – In a ceremony held in Taif city of the Mecca province, southwest of Saudi Arabia, 250 memorizers of the Quran were honored for their achievement.
According to Al-Khaleej website, the Quran memorizers, selected from 18 Quranic circles, were given gifts by Ahsan Al-Hadith Quran Memorization Society.
Muhammad Mutlaq Al-Maqati, head of the society, addressed the event, highlighting the key role of the Quranic circles in training the youth and saving them from extremist thoughts.
He said that the activities of the society are also in line with the objectives of the Quranic circles.
Some of the teachers of the Quranic circles were also honored in the ceremony.
