3000 Books Gifted to Kabul Seminary

TEHRAN (IQNA) – More than 3000 books on Islamic jurisprudence, religious beliefs, seminary and academic issues were gifted by the Iranian Cultural Center in Afghanistan to Resalat Seminary in Kabul.

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the move was part of efforts to develop cultural relations between the two countries.

The books were gifted to the library of the seminary in a ceremony attended by Javad Salehi, the executive director of the seminary.

The collection was the personal library of Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Hussein Husseini, imam of Razavi Courtyard of Imam Reza’s (AS) holy shrine, who was martyred in Mina incident in 2015.

He had devoted the books to the Astan of Imam Reza’s (AS) holy shrine and the Astan decided to gift the books to the Afghan seminary.
