Pilgrims March toward Mashhad to Attend Mourning Rituals on Imam Reza Martyrdom Anniversary
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Like previous years, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from different cities and towns walk long distances to reach the holy city of Mashhad in northeast Iran to attend mourning rituals on the anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) martyrdom.
This year, the martyrdom of the 8th Shia Imam falls on Tuesday, October 29.
