‘Most Beautiful Letter to Imam Khomeini’ Contest Planned in Lebanon
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Cultural Center in Lebanon plans to hold a letter writing competition named “The Most Beautiful Letter to Imam Khomeini (RA)”.
The competition has been planned to mark the 31st anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) demise.
Those willing to attend the competition should send the text of their letters, in one page at most, along with their names and contact details to icro.lebanon@gmail.com.
The end of July 2020 is the deadline for submitting the letters and the selected letters will be published in a book.
Three top participants will be awarded pilgrimage trips to Iran.
Ayatollah Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini, better known as Imam Khomeini, engineered Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, which led to the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran.
Imam Khomeini passed away on June 3, 1989, at the age of 87.
