Winners of Quran Memorization Contest Awarded
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The closing ceremony of the 12th edition of a nationwide Quran memorization competition in Iran was held on Tuesday.
Titled “Taranom Vahy” (sound of Revlation), the contest was organized by the Mahd Quran Institute.
Winners of different categories were awarded at the ceremony, attended by a number of Quranic officials and figures.
According to Seyed Mohammad Chavoshi, managing director of the institute, 302 memorizers from 17 provinces competed in the Quranic event.
He said 80 of the contenders made it to national round of the contest.
