Thousands Attend Congress of Palestinians in Europe
Thousands of Palestinians who live in European countries took part in the gathering, Al-Ahed News reported.
Also attending were political and civil society figures, including members of parliament, human rights activists and media personalities from Sweden, Italy and Ireland.
The congress featured nine forums, including those for youths and women.
On the sidelines of the congress, several events such as exhibitions, arts events, workshops, and festivals were held with the aim of shedding light on issues related to Palestine.
“75 Years on…We Will Return” was the motto of the congress, which underlined the right of return for all Palestinians.
The congress that has been held for two decades attracts thousands of Palestinians every year.
Sweden has the second largest population of Palestinians in Europe.
