A number of prominent Quran reciters from Iran, including Seyyed Javad Hosseini, Hamid Reza Ahmadi-Vafa, Moqaddami, Vakil and Beigi as well as Ahmed Shahat Ahmed Seyyed from Egypt and Mysam Tammar from Iraq will take part in the sessions.
There will also be special Quranic sessions for women where two eminent female Qaris will recite verses from the Holy Quran.
Mosques, holy sites, schools and Quranic centers in different [arts of the province will host the sessions.
The 36th national Holy Quran competition is scheduled to kick off on February 25 in the city of Shiraz, Fars province, with the participation of 197 men and 177 women.
A number of the country’s top Quranic experts, including Abbas Ememjome, Mohammad Reza Pourzargari, Gholamreza Shahmiveh, Mahmoud Lotfinia and Ahmad Abolqassemi will evaluate the performance of the contestants.
