Hamas, Islamic Jihad Underline Unity among Palestinians
Haniyeh and Nakhala met in Beirut during a visit by a Hamas delegation to Lebanon, Hamas.ps website reported.
They discussed ways to benefit the most from the achievements of the recent Sword of Quds Operation against the Zionist regime and the necessity for Palestinians to confront challenges based on principles.
Heading a delegation, Haniyeh arrived in Beirut on Sunday and has held talks with senior Lebanese officials and leaders of resistance groups, including Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Development of cooperation with the aim of serving the interests of the Palestinian and Lebanese nations will be among the topics to be discussed at the meetings.
The Hamas delegation has held talks in Morocco and Mauritania before traveling to Lebanon.
