Women Pillar of Islamic Republic’s Power: Official

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Women of the pillar of the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the cultural deputy of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said.

Addressing a gathering in the southern city of Bushehr on Saturday, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi added that the men in the country are creating power thanks to the presence of heroic women.

He added that the freedom given to women by the Islamic Republic is unique in the world.

“You (the world arrogance) define freedom as animal freedom” and certainly the Islamic Iran would not accept such a thing, Shekarchi stated.

He said while the enemies view women as a commodity and a means for advertisement, the Islamic Republic gave value to women.

According to the official, the Iranian Muslim woman has always been at the forefront of fighting the global arrogance both before and after the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

He emphasized that the Iranian people’s reliance is on their faith and on Islamic beliefs and that is why they will not be defeated by the hegemonic powers.
