The 89th chapter of the Quran is called Surah Al-Fajr, which means The Dawn. It has 30 verses and is located in the 30th part of the Quran. It was revealed in Mecca as the 10th chapter to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The name of the chapter comes from the first verse, where God swears by the dawn.

Surah Al-Fajr is also related to Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of the Prophet (PBUH). According to a narration from Imam Sadiq (AS), the term Nafs Mutmainna (the contented soul) in Verse 27 refers to Imam Hussein (AS). Some interpreters of the Quran also say that the term Layalin Ashr (the ten nights) refers to the first ten nights of Muharram, the month in which Imam Hussein (AS) was martyred on the 10th day.
