More than 35 mosques and Islamic centres across the state will welcome visitors of all backgrounds and beliefs to join them in celebrating Victoria's diversity.
The event, which is supported by the Labor Government and the Islamic Council of Victoria, aims to foster interfaith dialogue and understanding, as well as showcase the contributions of the Muslim community to the state.
Since its launch in 2017, the Victorian Mosque Open Day has attracted thousands of attendees who have enjoyed various activities such as henna art, sausage sizzles, jumping castles, and information sessions.
Minister for Multicultural Affairs Ingrid Stitt said the Mosque Open Day was a unique opportunity for Victorians to engage with their Muslim neighbours and friends. "We are proud to support multifaith events that strengthen our sense of community and celebrate our rich cultural and religious diversity," she said.
