Advent of Savior and Rule of Righteous on Earth
Dozens of Quranic verses are about the good news that a unified global government will be established on earth.
According to Verse 105 of Surah Al-Anbiya: “We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance (in the Torah): ‘The righteous among My worshipers shall inherit the earth.’”
The issue that God has emphasized so much in this verse should be one with utmost importance and sensitivity. Inheritance means transfer of a property or wealth without a transaction. That the righteous will inherit the earth means that the governance and dominance over the earth will be transferred to them and the blessings of the earth will become theirs. While the blessings in the hereafter will also be theirs, what this verse underscores is that they will have all the blessings of the earth in this world.
The fact that among all divine books, only these two (Psalms of Davis and the Torah) have been mentioned in this verse may be because Prophet Davis (AS) was one of the main divine messengers who established a government based on justice and also the Bani Isra’il (people of Moses) were an oppressed people who rose up against the oppressors and inherited their land.
Another point here is the righteous worshippers of God. Who are they? Given the extensive meaning of the word Salihoon (the righteous), it seems that they are meritorious in all aspects, including knowledge and wisdom, power, Taqwa (God-fearing) and faith, judiciousness and prudence, etc. So being oppressed is not the only characteristic that leads to victory over the enemies and ruling the earth. The oppressed will not be able to rule the earth as long as they fail to revive the two principles of faith and merit (competence).

When the righteous worshippers of God acquire the necessary merits, God will help them to cut off the hands of the oppressors from ruling the earth and become the inheritors of the earth. Therefore, in order for the believers to acquire various kinds of necessary merits, overthrow the rule of the oppressors and inherit their rule, the divine help and the coming of the Savior, who is from the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), are necessary.
