Mourning Ceremony on Hazrat Zahra’s Martyrdom Anniversary Held in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR (IQNA) – A ceremony was held in Malaysia’s capital Friday evening, mourning the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).

The Iranian Cultural Center in Malaysia organized the event, which was attended by the Representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Abdol Fattah Navab.

In an address, Hojat-ol-Islam Navab referred to a Hadith from Hazrat Zahra (AS), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), highlighting her keenness to read the Quran, look at the Holy prophet’s (PBUH) face and giving charity on the path of God.

He said these are instructions for Muslims to learn and act upon in life.

The cleric added that among Muslim women, Hazrat Zahra (AS) is the most popular role model in the areas of politics, religion, Taqwa (piety) and raising children.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Navab referred to the situation in Palestine and said the Muslim world’s top priority today is putting an end to the Israeli regime’s atrocities in the Gaza Strip.

He highlighted Iran’s support for the oppressed people of Palestine and said supporting the cause of Palestine is the responsibility of all believers and noble and freedom-loving people.
