Organized by the Supreme Quran Council, the plan was for teenage Quran reciters and memorizers and aimed to educate and train them in order to both enhance their Quranic skills and elevate their spiritual and moral level.
The 18th edition ran at the Yavaran Mahdi Cultural-Educational Institute in Qom and included 105 classes on subjects like recitation, memorization, Arabic conversation, Islamic thought and religious edicts.
They were taught by 19 instructors, including Quran experts and religious scholars.
Among them were Qassem Raziei, a prominent Iranian Quran reciter who has served as member of panels of judges in various national and international Quran competitions.
The participants also visited the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and the Jamkaran Mosque and attended sports and recreational activities on the sidelines of the courses.
