Slated for January 24-27, it will include a competition on recitation of the Quran while observing the rules of Tajweed.
Some 400 Quran reciters from Morocco and a number of other countries are expected at the Quranic event.
They will compete in two age groups of children and adults in two sections, one for men and one for women.
Quranic scholar Sheikh Mohammed al-Torabi will also be honored during the festival.
It is annually organized by the Communications and Social Development Society.
In the context of the recitation of the Quran, Tajweed is a set of rules for the correct pronunciation of the letters with all their qualities and applying the various traditional methods of recitation.
