TEHRAN (IQNA) – According to narrations, an individual came to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and after listening to one verse, reached the position of a faqih (jurist).

The individual came to the Prophet’s mosque and said: “O Prophet of God! Teach me the Quran!”

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) handed the man to one of his companions who read to him Surah Al-Zalzalah. Reaching these two verses “Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it,” the man deeply thought and asked: “Are these God’s revelation?”

The teacher confirmed. The man said: “I received my lesson from this verse … these sentences are enough for my life,” and then said goodbye.

The companion told the story to the Prophet who said the man returned while reaching the level of a “faqih”.

It is a source of regret that an uneducated individual managed to find the true approach and knowledge and receive a title from the Holy Prophet but many scholars cannot be successful in practice.
